- Charging card data: identifiers for MSP cards (Chargemap, Freshmile, etc.) you choose to add, used to apply applicable discounts.
- Usage data: session logs, charge request history, and booking records necessary to provide and improve the service.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, and analytics data collected via Google Analytics.
3. How We Use Your Data
We use your personal data for the following purposes:
- To provide the ChargeMatcher service — matching your charge requests with nearby stations and processing bookings.
- To authenticate your account and maintain session security.
- To apply charging card discounts when matching you with compatible operators.
- To improve the service through aggregated, anonymised analytics.
- To communicate with you about your account or service updates (no marketing emails without explicit consent).
4. Legal Basis for Processing

- Contract performance: processing necessary to provide the service you've signed up for.

- Charge Point Operators (CPOs): your anonymised charge request (location, vehicle specs, energy needed) is shared with nearby CPOs to enable them to present you with an offer. We do not share your name or email with CPOs.
- Infrastructure providers: Google Cloud Platform for hosting; Redis for session management.
- Analytics: Google Analytics for aggregated, anonymised usage statistics.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
6. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. Charging session history is retained for 24 months for billing and dispute resolution purposes. You may request deletion at any time.

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights:
